Oversee Yachts, LLC
Yacht Interior Design & Project Management
|
About
OVERSEE YACHTS designed the interiors of more than 30 boats in 18 years for the US, Brazilian and International market, including Yachts, Power Boats, Sailing Boats, Trawlers and others. In 2006 we received the award for the Best Design/Remodeling Project at the Annual Bay Harbor Boat Show for a 70' yacht.
We have worked with builders/companies and boat yards as interior consultants and designers. We develop the lay-out, make sketches and executive drawings, choose finishing materials, light distribution and color schemes. |
 |
 |
|
| Specialization
OVERSEE YACHTS specializes in working with the client’s unique needs and translating those needs to the boat yard (builder). To accomplish this we use the latest AutoCAD AutoDesk technology to communicate ideas between designer and customer with the greatest of ease. More that just designing yacht interiors, we work as consultants on architectural floor plans (layout) and determining timelines for construction. |

Note from Owner and Architect Christina Norris:
As owner and chief designer for Oversee Yachts I must admit we have designed some amazing yachts in the past 20 Years! Beyond developing the executive drawings and plans for the interiors, our service can be extended to a complete project management. Taking into consideration all technical demands of a Ship, I approach the drawings first by analyzing the flow of energy through a space and then how well the design will suit the clients needs and desires, but certainly not at the expense of function. My certifications in carpentry, graphic art and anthropometrics unite every detail of the design. |

| A bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, Brazil, helped me gain proficiency in the today's AutoCAD programs and technology. 1989 was a key year, bringing together my education and various skills as a professional yacht designer. Shortly after obtaining a full-time position as project manager at Marte Nautica Boat Yard in So Paulo I was fortunate to be invited to work as an intern at the Feadship Group in the Netherlands.
When I returned to Brazil in 1990 I founded Oversee Yachts.
Water is my passion and I am so happy that I moved to the Great Lakes Area in 1999, giving Oversee Yachts the opportunity to develop business clientele in the United States as well. While I currently make the Arizona desert my home, I can never fully leave the water behind and maintain an office in Michigan. |
